Dark Circles Under The Eyes

dark circles under eye, bags under eyes, puffiness under eyesAt some point we have all suffered from the dreaded DARK CIRCLES UNDER THE EYES, EYE BAGS, PUFFINESS UNDER YOUR EYES! Whatever you want to call it the appearance is the same. Dark circles make you you drawn and tired. There are many different causes for this, however there are some treatments which may help to alleviate and reduce the appearance of those dark circles.

Dark circles under the eyes tend to be blood vessels that can be seen through the skin. The cause of dark circles is never usually just one thing. It is generally a combination of aging, sun damage and allergies though heredity factors can be the primary cause. Lack of sleep can make any circles under your eyes appear darker, it does not in fact cause the problem. Lack of sleep can make your skin appear paler likewise illness, fatigue, pregnancy and menstruation  can all make your skin paler which will emphasize any dark circles that are there.

These are some of the steps that you can take to help alleviate the appearance of dark circles/bags under your eyes:

  • ensure that you are eating a balanced diet, and are exercising on a fairly regular basis (we all get lazy at some point).
  • Make sure you are getting enough sleep
  • You can use a concealer for an instant temporary fix. Yellow will neutralize the blues, purples, and husky hues on the skin.
  • You can use tea bags and cucumbers, or if you don't feel like cutting one up then try something ready made (Try Sbc Cucumber Gel) .Tea bags and cucumbers reduce inflammation and decrease swelling.
  • You should use more anti-oxidants: Antioxidant treatments help to reduce fluid buildup under the eyes, which decreases the dark eye circles. Go for treatments that involve a lot of vitamin C (Try Sbc Vitamin C Gel)
